Care & Use
Each piece is handmade in London using high-fired stoneware.
Because every piece is individually made, subtle variations in shape, colour, glaze, texture and surface are to be expected. Natural variations created during the making and firing process are part of what makes each piece unique.
Everyday Use
Our stoneware pieces are designed to be used and enjoyed every day.
All dinnerware should be handwashed unless otherwise stated on the individual product page.
While our ceramics are durable, they should still be handled with care. Avoid dropping or knocking pieces against hard surfaces, as this can cause chips, cracks or breakage.
Temperature & Thermal Shock
Ceramics can be affected by sudden changes in temperature. Avoid exposing a very hot piece to cold water or placing a hot piece directly onto a very cold surface.
Unless specifically stated on the product page, pieces should not be used in an oven or exposed to direct heat.
Glazes & Natural Variations
Glaze colour and surface can vary slightly from piece to piece. Differences in tone, texture, speckling, pinholes and other subtle kiln effects are natural characteristics of the ceramic process rather than imperfections.
Over time, some glazes and finishes may develop further character through regular use.
If a particular piece requires specific care or has limitations on its use, these will be noted on its individual product listing.
